This Jewish week and the visiting program has been very special this year due to various reasons.

 Former Leipzig residents could not travel, but could only take part in various events such as the opening, the prayer for peace in the Nikolaikirche, the reception by the mayor, the home hospitality and the final concert in the Gewandhaus. The program was just as colorful and rich as in other years.

We were present at the opening ceremony on Augustusplatz, took part in a dance seminar for Israeli folk dances, helped shape the peace prayer, virtually welcomed a former Leipzig Jewess Rosa from England to our apartment, our film "Survival - Three Jewish Generations" in the KOMM house in Grünau and moderated the subsequent discussion and were able to enjoy the final concert virtually.
