<p><img src="https://tornachzion.de/" alt=""></p><p><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Auch in Grimma/Hohnstädt durften wir vom Verein „Tor nach Zion“ das Chanukkafest feiern. Dazu trafen wir uns an einem kalten Dezemberabend im gemütlichen Göschenhaus. Aus Grimma und Umgebung kamen Leute, um mit uns gemeinsam zu feiern. Jeder brachte etwas für unser Buffet mit, so dass wir einen reich gedeckten Tisch hatten.</span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Der Abend begann mit Liedern und gemeinsamen Singen. Dann wurde der Leuchter, die Chanukkia, entzündet. Bei jeder Kerze hielten wir inne und beteten für Gottes Volk und Israel. Danach hielt Christian Rebs, ehemaliger Jugendwart aus Grimma, eine beeindruckende Predigt über das Licht der Welt und Chanukka. Dabei nahm er auch Bezug auf die aktuelle Situation in Israel. Vor der Tempelweihe im Jahre 165 v. Chr. starben viele gläubige Juden als Märtyrer und dann in verlustreichen Kämpfen der Makkabäer gegen die Griechen, die das Judentum zerstören wollten. Die unvorstellbare Grausamkeit des Massakers und der Geiselnahme der Hamas am 7.10.23 ließ uns in Anteilnahme innehalten. </span></span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: Tahoma, sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Dann wurde gegessen. Weil Chanukka ein fröhliches Fest ist, las uns Manfred Hoffmann zwischendurch einige kuriose jüdische Geschichten und Anekdoten vor. Am Ende wurde natürlich noch gedreidelt. Eigentlich ist dieses Spiel am Chanukkafest für Kinder. Weil aber nur zwei Kinder dabei waren, schlossen sich kurzerhand einige Erwachsene dem Spiel an. Es gab sogar Preise zu gewinnen. Fröhlich und mit dankbaren Herzen beendeten wir danach diesen schönen Abend.</span></span></p>
