On the 20th of January, Kerstin Klug and Peter Slowik celebrated with the young people of the Andreas church the Shabbat.

We are living in a world where people a desperately searching for a work-life-balance but God kept an eye on this issue since His creation. The Shabbat is a day of rest. All electronic devices are turned off, food has been prepared in advance, children don’t go to school and parents spent time with them. On this day families eat together, read the word of God, meet friends and neighbors, and go to worship services. The young people were very interested and asked many questions. They got a practical connection to the Jewish roots in celebrating the Shabbat meal together.
