Jewish Birth Pangs and Messianic Birth - Seven Biblical Keys, Avner Boskey Omer / Israel
Review
In early October, Avner Boskey (see https://davidstent.org/) ministered in congregations and groups focused on Israel across the German states of Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt. He connected the prophetic declarations of the Tanakh (Old Testament) with their confirmations in the Brit Chadasha (New Testament), placing them within our current context. He began with the verse in Genesis 3:15—a theme that unfolds throughout the entirety of Holy Scripture. Here, the "seed of the woman" refers to the Jewish people, from whom the Messiah emerged. The serpent—Satan—knows that his time is short. Revelation 12 describes the furious battle waged by the dragon (Satan) against the woman (the Jewish people), the Child (the Messiah), and His followers. The archangel Michael, one of the most powerful angels, fights for and protects the Jewish people—a role unique to them, as no other nation can claim him as their own. He casts Satan out of heaven and down to the earth. Satan’s rage manifests in four colors: yellow, representing the Inquisition fueled by replacement theology; green, representing Islam and its murderous jihad; red, representing communism; and black, representing National Socialism. Today, this finds expression in a massive wave of antisemitism and anti-Zionism. Yeshua will return and judge all nations based on how they have treated Israel (Joel 4:1–3; Psalm 83). As followers of Yeshua, we are called to: 1. Pray for Israel—as instructed in Isaiah 62:1–6—until all prophecies concerning Israel are fulfilled; 2. Intercede for Israel and the Jewish people (Isaiah 40:1–2); and 3. Protect Jewish people, even at the risk of our own lives, in the spirit of the ten Boom family. We are grateful for the Messianic biblical teaching provided by Avner, who draws from the original texts and an Eastern, Hebraic way of thinking. I would like to specifically draw your attention to the "Ez37" (Ezekiel 37) project on this website.
