Evening lecture by Pastor Daniel Yahav from Tiberias in Döben

Daniel Yahav is a pastor of a Messianic community in Tiberias on the Sea of Galilee, a city where Yeshua worked during his time in Israel. He spoke in the old brewery in Döben on February 6th in front of about 80 visitors from Grimma and the surrounding area on the topic: “Increasing signs of the end times in Israel and the world: How should we react?” He challenged us to put our lives in order before God and to let the light of the gospel shine. We are entering a time of increasing darkness and godlessness. This is visible in all areas of society and unfortunately also in our churches. Pastor Yahav emphasized that it is our mission as Christians to counter this trend. He described how his church in Israel does this by distributing food to Holocaust survivors and the needy, by operating a search and rescue team for disaster relief, by visiting prisoners, by caring for and educating children in its own kindergarten and school center, and by hosting a variety of community activities. In all of our activities, we emphasize the importance of being grounded in God's Word, the Bible, and in prayer, so as not to fall prey to the deceptions and temptations of this age.
