The book of Job with the issue of suffering is a difficult part of the bible and in our lives. There is no other part in the bible where a believer is struggling so strong with God.

Prof. Zimmer was able to give us a deeper understanding of the book of Job in its literary form as well as a having a truthful debate about suffering. He himself is affected by suffering because he lost his eyesight due to an eye disease a few years ago, he presented important insights from bible studies about the book of Job as well as his own way with God during this difficult time.

This seminar has been a great impulse for all participants to study the word of God more profound and not being satisfied with shallow explanations. Just like in good Jewish tradition. For more information please look here:
